It's a quiet neighborhood, but troubles lurk behind the heavy drapes in a modest Texas home. Heather, newly arrived from England, wants to solve the mysteries behind her husband's furtive actions, her mother-in-law's illness, and other odd characters she encounters in the area. Ann Summerville's second book demonstrates that her first "A Graceful Death", was no fluke. She is a skilled writer - excellent pacing, well drawn characters, delightful settings, and a charming sense of humor keep the pages turning. Enjoy the stormy secrets! Hang on tight! Tornado season is twirling in Storms and Secrets by Ann Summerville. Danger and intrigue poke into this cozy mystery before Heather’s Boeing 777 touches down on the Dallas-Fort Worth airport runway. She has flown ten hours from her home in England to search for her husband who has disappeared off the computer screen while visiting his mother in Fort Worth, Texas. Heather’s fear of flying has been outweighed by her missing man. -Sheryl Nelms, Poet, Author, Editor- Girls to the Rescue, THE PEN WOMAN MAGAZINE and Bluebonnets, Boots & Buffalo Bones |
